Itasca Vikings Softball team qualifies for the honor of playing for a National Championship

Over the weekend the Itasca Vikings Softball team qualified for the honor of playing for a National Championship!  The National Tournament is in Syracuse, New York with games starting on May 24th.

The gals played some great games with an exciting 2-1 win in the Regional Championship.  They are some good people who spent countless hours improving their skill sets as a person over this year, in life, the classroom and on the softball field.

Taylor Shepard was the Regional MVP with Abby Gustason, Lexie Tatro, and Brooke Meyer making the All-Region Team.  Great individual honors for them.
